These are the dishes we'd send out first if you sat down without a menu. Shakshouka, of course — the egg yolk broken into the tomato, the bread still warm. After that, the mezze table grows: hummus with awarma lamb if you want comfort, mixed grill if you want a feast, sea bass if you want something quieter. Finish with knafeh, hot from the pan.
